Well begun is half done, and that also applies to extinguishing the fire. Preferably let the fire die out on its own. For extra safety, you can use the Spolert Topper to cover the flames. Keep in mind that this does not completely cut off the oxygen supply, so the fire will not go out immediately, but it will help to control the flames.
